All or Nothing kickboxers
from Bridgwater were in action recently at the Weston Super Mare
Fight Showcase.
16 year old Lewis Jordan lost a very close
decision to Full Circle's Luke Young in a battle that went back and
forth. Only his second contest but Jordan was in good form and will
take that form to his next contest in Penzance on July 26th.
Ben
Nash, also 16, was himself in a very tough and close encounter
against 19 year old Callum of Newquay. After a thrilling three
rounder Nash's aggression seem to be enough to earn the
decision.
Representing Bridgwater but from Bristol was
superheavyweight Russell Hodges against Seaton's Ben Way. An MMA
fighter ordinarily Hodges took this fight to gain experience in the
stand up game. This was a low kick rule kickboxing bout which allows
for leg kicks. Hodges dominated his opponent from the start with his
lead jab. Ben Way was very strong and would consistently come forward
showing no signs of letting up. Hodges showed a good fitness level to
maintain his dominance in the fight and won a unanimous points
decision.
